About the Owner

Sean Haar has been actively engaged in real estate valuation since 2019 and has valued a myriad of property types, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, agricultural, and special-purpose properties. Sean also has experience with condemnation and eminent domain appraisals as well as appraisals in conformance with the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisition.

Mr. Haar has provided real estate valuation, advisory, and consulting services for a variety of purposes, including lending, trust and estate, right-of-way, litigation support, portfolio valuation, tax appeal, and financial reporting. His experience spans the Midwest, with a primary focus on Nebraska and Iowa. Sean has provided services for lenders, government-sponsored enterprises, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS), attorneys, accounting firms, private equity real estate funds, capital management firms, real estate holding entities, and private individuals.

Sean is a credentialed Certified General Real Property Appraiser in Nebraska and Iowa, and is a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute. Prior to founding Haar Appraisal and Valuation in 2025, Sean was a certified general appraiser with top national appraisal firms Colliers Valuation and Advisory Services and Apprise by Walker & Dunlop. He also previously served as a certified general appraiser at Kubert Appraisal Group in Lincoln, NE.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has a previous employment background in sales and operations with experience in multiple industries including real estate, retail, and hospitality. Sean leverages his current appraisal experience with past experience in multiple industries to provide accurate, unbiased, and ethical appraisal services.
